Renovate, sell or demolish.
Those are the three options being put forward by the Building Committee as Pennington County Commissioners prepare for a Public Meeting next month on the fate of the Thief River Falls City Auditorium, adjacent to the Court House in downtown Thief River Falls.
Commissioners this week were given a preview of materials taken from a January walk-through and evaluation of the Auditorium, which came to the County in a property swap in years past.
Although the building does see some use; for Community Volleyball and as a recreation facility for St. Bernards School, it does not meet accessibility standards, with other concerns including roof repair, asbestos abatement and the facility’s heating plant.
The Public Meeting is scheduled Monday May 7th, 7PM at the Courthouse in Thief River Falls.
