The flags are flying along Main, the Trolls are standing guard at every street corner, and, by proclamation of the City of Thief River Falls, Norwegian Heritage Week is set to kick off tomorrow, with a full schedule of events through next Sunday, May 20th.
It all starts with the Second Annual Uff Da Day; tomorrow from 1 to 4pm at Peder Engelstad Pioneer Village, on Oakland Park Road.

The event is a fund raiser for cabin roof repair at Pioneer Village; admission at the door is $5 for adults, $2 for children, an additional charge for a limited number of participants in the Escape Room Activity and everyone welcome.
Sunday will feature a Norwegian Concert at the United Methodist Church in Thief River Falls beginning at 7pm, admission by free-will donation.
Events will wrap up Sunday, May 20th with the real production of “Ole and Lena’s Wedding” the comedy performance by Change of Pace Productions hosted in the NCTC Fine Arts Auditorium.
