Pennington County Officials have released the names of the drivers in a two vehicle accident late last week east of Thief River Falls.
The two are identified as Brian G. Johnson of Goodridge and Trevor Jarshaw of Thief River Falls, both escaped injury when the tandem axle trucks they were driving collided at the intersection of the Smilie Bridge Road and 250th Avenue last Thursday morning.
According to investigators, the Johnson vehicle, a 1979 Mack Truck, was east bound, and failed to stop at the stop sign, pulling into the path of the Jarshaw vehicle; a 1996 Kenworth Farm Truck.
Deputies report significant damage, both vehicles were totaled with one vehicle in the ditch, the other spilling its load across the roadway.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, reported just before 9:30am.
