“Unity” is the watchword as DFLers and GOP candidates for governor square off against each other and their own parties heading into the August primary.
For the Republicans, former governor turned candidate; Tim Pawlenty is up against endorsed candidate; Hennepen County Commissioner Jeff Johnson.
On the DFL side, party-endorsed Representative Erin Murphy faces off against Congressman Tim Walz and Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson.
And tomorrow is primary election day in North Dakota.
Plenty of local races with candidates hoping for the vote needed to get their name on the ballot this fall – that includes the primary in North Dakota’s lone U.S. House Seat.
Republicans Tiffany Abentroth, Kelly Armstrong, and Paul Schaffner are running for the GOP spot on the ballot.
The winner will take on Mac Schneider who is running unopposed in the primary for the Democratic-NPL spot on the ballot.
