The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority signed off yesterday on spending just over five-million-dollars to cover the stadium’s roof and glass walls with darkening curtains. The curtains are necessary to ensure consistent lighting for teams playing in the Final Four.

Freshman Kevin Abel pitched a complete game shutout to lead the Beavers to a 5-0 win over Arkansas in the deciding Game Three of the College World Series in Omaha.
