(Minneapolis, MN) — Jake Cave clubbed a grand slam in the second inning and the Twins held on to beat the Royals 6-5 at Target Field. Ehire Adrianza and Robbie Grossman also plated runs for the Twins, who swept the three-game series. Gabriel Moya picked up the win and Fernando Rodney notched his 24th save.
(Cleveland, OH) — The Twins begin a seven-game road trip tonight in Cleveland with the first of four games against the Indians at Progressive Field. Kyle Gibson will get the start tonight for Minnesota, which will also visit Detroit on the trek. The Indians will counter with Trevor Bauer.

Moss received the ceremonial yellow jacket and gave an emotional speech during the 2018 induction ceremony on Saturday. Moss garnered attention by wearing a black tie with the names of 12 African-Americans in gold letters who were slain by police officers.
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Lynx trailed by 15 at halftime and never recovered in an 86-66 home loss to the Atlanta Dream. Minnesota shot just over 37-percent as a team. Sylvia Fowles posted 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lynx, who have lost three in-a-row to dip to 15-and-13 on the season. The Lynx visit Chicago tomorrow and Las Vegas on Thursday before returning home.
