An omnibus hearing is scheduled later this month before District Judge Kurt Marben in the case of a Thief River Falls Woman accused of murder.
Nicole Baker, 30, is charged with Third Degree Murder and three felony drug charges in the opioid overdose death of Samuel Cabrales, 23.
District Judge Tamara Yon set Baker’s next appearance for August 20th. Baker is accused of providing the deadly mix of fentynal laced heroine that killed Cabrales after he self-administered the drug at an apartment in Thief River Falls.
Baker remains in custody pending $200,000 bond.
A co-defendant in the case; Aaron Zimmerman, 41, is also facing murder charges, with his case set for jury trial September 17th.
Two other defendants; Nathan Mock, 23, and Robert Bellanger-Fohrenkam, 36, have pled guilty to lesser charges.
