Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls. This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups. The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony; the night ends in small groups. The groups currently offered are women’s life issues, addiction and grief and loss; and men’s addictions and life issues. All Women’s Volleyball captains and players interested in having a volleyball team on Tuesday or Thursday nights for the 2018-2019 season must attend the organizational meeting on Thursday, August 30th at 7:30pm at the Eagle’s Club. The Thief River Falls Area Community Theatre presents “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” for one night only, Thursday, August 30th, at 7:30 pm in the Firehall Theatre, 412 2nd Avenue, Grand Forks ND. Tickets are $15 and are available at trfart.org and at the door.
Trails to Treatment is sponsoring a fundraiser on Friday and Saturday, August 31st and September 1st. One of the kick-off events is the Karaoke competition, which will be held on Friday evening at 8pm at the Wheel Bar in Middle River. Singers are needed for this competition and prizes will be awarded. Trails to Treatment is a great program that offers assistance to patients currently receiving cancer treatments.
