County Commissioners Sign Substantial Completion Document For Justice Center Phase One

Pennington County Commissioners were provided with their monthly update on progress at the Justice Center, still under construction in downtown Thief River Falls.

Project Manager Pete Filippi anticipating opening the doors on September 17th. He says boilers will be up and running by September 24th.

Filippi also says some furniture items arrived late, others have not yet been delivered.

Commissioners approved three change orders, and discussed making changes to electrical outlets at their regular meeting yesterday.

Commissioners also signed the Substantial Completion Document, establishing a warranty start date for the Phase One portion of the building in the Perimeter B portion of the Justice Center.

Commissioners are also having BKV Construction teams look at some superficial cracks in brick work at the current Pennington County Court House.
