A Halma area teenager was injured this morning in a 2 vehicle accident north of Thief River Falls in Marshall County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 17 year old Feather Garfve was injured when the car she was driving collided with the back of a farm implement, both vehicles southbound on Highway #59 in Newfolden Township.
Garfve was taken to Sanford Regional Medical Center in Thief River Falls, her injuries described by officers at the scene as “non-life threatening.”
State Troopers say Garfve was south bound when her 2005 Buick LaSabre collided with the back of a John Deer Tractor driven by 38 year old Gregory Duray of Viking.
Duray was not injured in the accident, reported just after 11am this morning. Officers were assisted at the scene by the Thief River Falls Ambulance Service.
