Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls.  This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups.  The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony; the night ends in small groups.  The groups currently offered are women’s life issues, addiction and grief and loss; and men’s addictions and life issues.  Nursery is provided, as well as celebration place for elementary aged children. Tri-Community Living at Home presents “Burgers and Birds”.  On Tuesday, September 25th at 6pm you can get information on autumn bird watching and feeding and enjoy a Hobo Haus burger basket for $6, all at the same time at the Newfolden Center.  For more information call 874-2256.

Walt Cross, who provides lifestyle education on the physiological benefits of lifestyle health, will be presenting Old Mountain Health Remedies lectures at Nature’s Retreat in Middle River.  There will be four presentations on Saturday, September 29th, beginning at 9:30am and running throughout the day until 4pm.  On Sunday the 30th there will be one presentation at 9:30am.  For more information call 218-821-8079 or 218-686-4083.  These lectures are free to attend, everyone is welcome.

On Sunday, September 30th, Middle River Thief Lake Living at Home will have a Pancake Breakfast at the American Legion in Middle River from 8-11am.

United Lutheran WNALC of Bernier/Gonvick will serve their Annual Fall Dinner at noon on Sunday, September 30th.  The menu includes ham, baked potatoes, carrots, coleslaw, raisin sauce, white molasses finger rolls, and apple cake with caramel sauce and whipped cream.  The price is $10/adults, $5/children 6-12 and 5 and under free.

Redeemer Lutheran Church of Thief River Falls is sponsoring the 28th Annual Hospice of the Red River Valley Spaghetti Benefit Dinner on Monday, October 1st from 5-7pm.   A Freewill Offering will be collected; proceeds will go to Hospice of Red River Valley.

The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council sponsors an annual Traveling Art Exhibit, which visits northwest Minnesota communities throughout the year.  The exhibit includes 15 original pieces of art by regional adult artists.  The exhibit is currently at the Ada Public Library until November 2nd.
