Charges Filed Following Head-On Collision


A Thief River Falls man was injured in a two vehicle accident yesterday in Polk County.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Brady Skallet, 21, was injured when the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix he was driving collided head-on with a 2016 Subaru Legacy, driven by Jeremy Burwell, 42, of Grand Forks.

Authorities say Burwell has been arrested for suspicion of DWI and on an outstanding warrant following the accident reported just after 7PM, on county road 20 and 110th street Southwest in Keystone township.

Bradly reportedly suffered injures officers at the scene describe as “minor”, and was treated at the scene.
