62% of Minnesota children between the ages of six-months and 17-years received vaccinations during the 2017-2018 flu season.

Kris Ehresmann with the state Department of Health says that is only 62% good-news since 38% are unprotected.

Five children died from influenza or related-complications during the last flu season. More than 6,400 Minnesotans of all ages were hospitalized with the flu.
