More problems with social media-scams reported this morning.
Some Facebook users report receiving a message, urging them to forward a message onto other Facebook friends.
The message, reads: “Hi…I actually got another friend request from you yesterday….which I ignored so you may want to check your account. Hold your finger on the message until the forward button appears…then hit forward and all the people you want to forward too…I had to do the people individually. Good luck!”
The suspicious message should be considered spam.
This is the second security breach to occur on Facebook in the last two weeks. On September 25th, Facebook’s engineering team discovered a security issue affecting around 50 million vulnerable accounts.
The incident remains under investigation.
