Funeral services for Cindy Kay Beito, 57, of Strathcona, MN, will be held at 2 P.M. Wed., Oct. 24, at First Lutheran Church in Middle River, MN, with Rev. Mary Lundquist officiating. Visitation will be after 6 P.M. Tues. with a 7 P.M. prayer service at Collins Funeral Chapel, Middle River, and one hour prior to services Wed. afternoon. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Strathcona.
Cindy Kay Beito, the daughter of the late Andrew and Edna (Abrahamson) Boroos, was born on July 17, 1961, at Roseau, Minnesota. She attended school and grew to womanhood in the Badger, MN community, graduating from Badger High School in 1979. She was united in marriage to Eugene Beito on July 11 1998, at Strathcona and the couple have since made their home there. Cindy was employed at Polaris Industries in Roseau for 29 years until her heath forced her retirement in January of 2009. She attended Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church in Strathcona and very much enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking and baking. She passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND on Thursday afternoon, October 18, 2018, at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 1 day.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; two sisters: Gloria Thiessen, of Superior, WI and Lulu Boroos, of Minneapolis; one brother: Didrick (Sherry) Boroos, of Badger; brothers-in-law: Ernest Doris) Beito, Motley, MN, Harold (Sandy) Beito, Wannaska, MN, and Kean (Lori) Beito, of Roseau; sister-in-law: Caroline Majer, also of Roseau’ in addition to many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, one nephew, Charles;; parents-in-law: Violet and Lenne Beito; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Louis and Alice Beito and Don and Donna Beito; and step-father-in-law: Clement Gust.
