The Holiday Art, Craft & Vendor Sale will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at the TRF Eagles Club; this event is free with a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the TRF Food Shelf. A food shelf donation will also get you entered into the vendor and artist donated door prize drawing. You’ll find numerous vendors and items, holiday ornaments and decorating, and you can water marble your own silk scarf, while supplies last. Lunch will be served by the Northern Lights Dance Studio, and Lincoln High School Band members will present Holiday Music.
The Heritage Community Center in Thief River Falls is sponsoring a Soup and Sandwich Fundraiser from 10:30am-1:30pm on Saturday, November 3rd. They will be serving vegetable beef or chicken noodle soup and an egg salad or chicken salad sandwich for $7. They will also have a Nutrition Council Bake Sale.
St. Joseph’s Church of Middle River is sponsoring their 25th Annual Hunter’s Supper and Raffle on Saturday, November 3rd at the American Legion in Middle River. From 4-9pm they will be serving roast pork and all the trimmings, polish sausage and sauerkraut, lefse, kolaches, homemade dinner rolls, salads and dessert. The cost is adults/ $12, 6-12 years/$5 and preschool/free. There will be a drawing for over $3,000 in cash and prizes at 8:45; 100 chances to win. Everyone is welcome.
It’s “Bingo for Donuts” at the Thief River Falls Public Library on Monday, November 5th at 3:30pm. Help celebrate National Donut Day by playing bingo and winning some sweet treats. At 6pm come and hear author Scott Cameron talk about growing up in Minnesota and his books on adventure up north. Books will be available for purchase and signing. From 6:30-7pm on Monday evening, Dan Bartsch presents “Books Come Alive-Part 2”; he will review and read different books that could enhance your reading choices.
