It’s “Bingo for Donuts” at the Thief River Falls Public Library on Monday, November 5th at 3:30pm. Help celebrate National Donut Day by playing bingo and winning some sweet treats. At 6pm come and hear author Scott Cameron talk about growing up in Minnesota and his books on adventure up north. Books will be available for purchase and signing. From 6:30-7pm on Monday evening, Dan Bartsch presents “Books Come Alive-Part 2”; he will review and read different books that could enhance your reading choices. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls. This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups. The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony; the night ends in small groups. The groups currently offered are women’s life issues, addiction and grief and loss; and men’s addictions and life issues. The Thief River Falls Christian Women’s Club/Stonecroft Ministries will sponsor a noon lunch and program on Tuesday, November 13th at the American Legion in Thief River Falls. Judy Moor Vader, from Escanaba, Michigan, will share how her charmed life had to deal with some “real life” decisions. You can also share in their auction by bringing items or bidding on items; the money will go to help Stonecroft and their ministry.
