Teen driver injured in a 2 vehicle accident yesterday in Cass County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 17 year old girl was injured when the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro she was driving rear-ended an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Jessie Britt, 44, of Casselton, North Dakota on Interstate 94 near 34th street South in Moorehead.
Officials say the Avalanche left the road, entering the median, and striking a cable barrier. The Camaro left the road on the right shoulder, striking a guard rail.
The unidentified driver of the Camaro was transported to Sanford Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the Avalanche and passengers in both vehicles suffered no apparent injury. All involved were wearing seat-belts at the time of the accident reported just after 1 AM.
Road conditions were listed as wet and officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
