The Thief River Falls Christian Women’s Club/Stonecroft Ministries will sponsor a noon lunch and program on Tuesday, November 13th at the American Legion in Thief River Falls.  Judy Moor Vader, from Escanaba, Michigan, will share how her charmed life had to deal with some “real life” decisions.  You can also share in their auction by bringing items or bidding on items; the money will go to help Stonecroft and their ministry.  The cost is $9.00; for reservations or cancelations call Diane at 681-3229 or Carmen at 681-3091.  Reservations are appreciated by Thursday, November 8th.

The First Lutheran Church of Middle River Soup and Sandwich Bazaar is Friday November 9th from 10am -2pm at the American Legion in Middle River. They will have lefse.

Tri-Community Living at Home is having “Cards and Games and Potluck” at 3pm on Friday, November 9th at the Newfolden Center.  For more information call 874-2256.

There is a Craft and Vendor Fair from 9am-3pm on Saturday, November 10th at the Eagles Club in Thief River Falls.  There will be 25+ booths with no admission fee and food will be served.

The “Vintage Carnival” will be held from 10am-3pm on Saturday, November 10th at the Thief River Falls Armory.  You’ll find 30+ junk and handmade vendors, live music, food, drink and more.

St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Goodridge is serving a Fall Fish Fry Supper on Saturday, November 10th from 4-8pm.   The menu includes pan-fried walleye, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable, assorted salads, homemade dinner rolls and assorted desserts.  The price is one fillet/$11 and two fillets/$13.  Everyone is welcome!

The public is invited to a Veterans Day Program at Marshall County Central High School in Newfolden at 9:30 am on Monday, November 12th.  MCC Schools and American Legion Post 427 partners each year to honor our Veterans and those in active service; the theme this year is “Honoring the United States Flag”.  The program includes Keynote Speaker Senator Mark Johnson, the Flag Folding Ceremony held by the Minnesota Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team, an Award Presentation to Legion Member achieving 50 years of Legion Membership, and music presented by the MCC High School Band, Choir, and 5th Grade.
