Roosevelt City Council Member Resigns Citing Harassment

A Roosevelt City Council member has resigned from their position.

Council member and acting mayor, Arlyn Stewart resigned last Monday from his position with the city saying he “will no longer put up with harassment form the general public and the news media.”

Stewart says he is keeping his key for the city office, citing his association with the Rossevelt Arena Association.

Roosevelt mayor-elect Gerald Landby says he has spoken to the League of Minnesota Cities about city matters including bills before he takes office in January.
