Badger Area Woman Injured In Single Vehicle Last Night Involving Wildlife


A Badger area woman was injured in a single vehicle accident involving wildlife last night in Roseau County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Ronna Marie Seydel, 56, was injured when the eastbound 2018 Ford Edge she was driving struck a deer on Highway 11 west of Badger. Officials say Seydel was taken to Lifecare Medical Center in Roseau and treated for injuries troopers at the scene describe as non-life threatening. Road conditions were listed as dry and Seydel was wearing her seat-belt at the time of the accident, reported just after 5:30.

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
