Several items were before Pennington County Commissioners, who held their first Board meeting 2019 last week in Thief River Falls.
The Board set ditch levies for the year with one change. County Auditor-Treasurer Ken Olson says Ditch 45 will receive additional work in 2019. All other ditches remained at 2018 levels.
Human Services Director Ken Yutrzenka saw approval of an update to a statute for his department, retroactively effective January 1st. The move was marked by a change in Childcare Licensing Policy, with an increase for licenses from fifty to seventy-five dollars.
The Board also approved the Soil and Water Conservation District’s Invasive Species Bi-Annual Plan. The Board re-approved twenty thousand dollars in State money for advertisement and education to stop invasive species.
An Abatement Hearing has been set for February 12th at ten AM.
