Bradley A. Olson, son of Erling and Barb Olson, of Grand Forks, ND, formerly of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, at the age of 49.Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Tom Colenso officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Bradley Allen Olson was born on July 9, 1969 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Erling and Barbara (Froseth) Olson.  He attended Lincoln High School, graduating in 1989.  Following high school he studied nursing at Northland Community College in Thief River Falls.

Brad worked for his father at Erl’s Market, at Oakland Park Nursing Home, and at Twin Cities Motors in Grand Forks, ND, where he met his fiancé, Ericka.

Brad enjoyed sports and outdoor activities such as hunting with his family at the caboose, fishing with his buddies, golfing, gardening, and decorating for Christmas – which he was very competitive in.

Brad was a member of University Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.

Brad is survived by his fiancé, Ericka Matthews of Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Jeff (Julie) Olson and Mike (Angela Dobias) Olson, both of Thief River Falls, MN; nieces and nephews, Chad (Deanne) Olson, Anthony Olson, Makenzie (Tyler) Johnson, Nachele (Ryan) Kolden and daughters Alanna and Maizie, Ben Olson, Nick Olson, Chaz (Brittany) Dobias and children Ryker and Taven, and Chesnay Dobias; uncles, Richard (Sharon) Olson of Thief River Falls, MN, and Ron (Karen) Olson of Florida; his future father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Nancy Pagnac of Grand Forks, ND; his furry friends, Molly and Lucy; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; children, Kelsey and Brody; grandparents, Ed and Emma Olson and Ole and Rose Froseth.
