The Thief River Falls Area Food Shelf has new hours. Distribution will now be every Tuesday from 1-6pm and every Thursday from 11am-4:30pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St.. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left). Please bring your own boxes.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls. This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups. The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony; the night ends in small groups. The groups currently offered are women’s life issues, addiction and grief and loss; and men’s addictions and life issues. Free Information Sessions for “Optimize Your Brain” will be held at the TRF Public Library on Tuesday, February 12th and Thursday Feb 14th, at 6:30 pm. The Thief River Falls Area Community Theatre presents a Valentine’s Dinner Theater; the romantic comedy classic “Barefoot in the Park” will be presented on Tuesday, February 12th, through Thursday, the 14th at the Eagles Club in Thief River Falls. The doors open at 6pm; the show begins at 7pm. A pasta bar, salad, bread, and dessert will be served. Tickets are $25/person and include dinner and the show. The 8th Annual Battle of the Brooks Avenue Hockey Game is Wednesday, February 13th from 5:30 pm – 8pm. Admission will remain a free-will offering with all proceeds going to the charities under the Digi-Key Cares Umbrella. Concessions will once again be open, along with giveaways and prizes.

The Thief River Falls Christian Women’s Club/Stonecroft Ministries will sponsor a noon lunch and program on Tuesday, February 19th at the American Legion in Thief River Falls. Dr. Roy Klossner will share about his experiences as a missionary doctor outside the country and Greg Dally, a well-known musician from Thief river Falls will be presenting several musical numbers. The Museum in Greenbush presents its Annual Sweet Sixteen Snowmobile Show on Saturday, February 16th, on the south end of Main Street. Oak Ridge Lutheran Church, located 7 miles west on Hwy 1 and 1 mile north, is holding their 17th Annual Lasagna Supper on Saturday, February 16th from 4-7 pm. They will be serving homemade lasagna, garlic toast, lettuce salad, creamy homemade dessert, coffee and milk; they will also offer gluten-free lasagna.
