The Thief River Falls Area Food Shelf has new hours. Distribution will now be every Tuesday from 1-6pm and every Thursday from 11am-4:30pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St.. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left). Please bring your own boxes.
The Thief River Falls Area Community Theatre presents a Valentine’s Dinner Theater; the final production of the romantic comedy classic “Barefoot in the Park” will be presented tonight, Thursday, the 14th, at the Eagles Club in Thief River Falls. The doors open at 6pm; the show begins at 7pm. A pasta bar, salad, bread, and dessert will be served. Tickets are $25/person and include dinner and the show. Advance tickets are available at Digi-Key’s east entrance during business hours or online at trfact.org.

The Thief River Falls Christian Women’s Club/Stonecroft Ministries will sponsor a noon lunch and program on Tuesday, February 19th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. Dr. Roy Klossner will share about his experiences as a missionary doctor outside the country and Greg Dally, a well-known musician from Thief river Falls will be presenting several musical numbers. The Museum in Greenbush presents its Annual Sweet Sixteen Snowmobile Show on Saturday, February 16th, on the south end of Main Street. Oak Ridge Lutheran Church, located 7 miles west on Hwy 1 and 1 mile north, is holding their 17th Annual Lasagna Supper on Saturday, February 16th from 4-7 pm. They will be serving homemade lasagna, garlic toast, lettuce salad, creamy homemade dessert, coffee and milk; they will also offer gluten-free lasagna. A Free will offering will be included and take-outs and a bake sale will be available.

There will be a registration and parent/athlete meeting for the Clay Target League on Tuesday, February 19th at 6pm at the Franklin Middle School Cafeteria. The regular season dates are from March 17th –May 31st and the league is open to FMS and LHS students in grades 6-12 who have successfully completed the Hunter Firearm Safety Program and have a Minnesota State Approved-Firearm Safety Certificate.
