County Set To Sell More Buildings To Make Way For Mark Boulevard Bridge

The Pennington County Highway Department had several items on the agenda, during the County Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday in Downtown Thief River Falls.

According to County Engineer Mike Flaagan, work continues on right of way, concerning the Mark Boulevard Bridge Project.

He says the County will be advertising for buildings on property purchased by the County to make way for the bridge project. He says a house and one or maybe two out buildings on what he called the “Stark Property”, will be up for sale this month. Flaagan says that the buildings will be sold separately.

The County Board also set the salary Tuesday for the County Maintenance Foreman potion. Flaagan says the position saw a 2.5 percent salary increase.

In other Highway Department news, the County has set a date for the Five Year Road and Bridge Plan meeting for March 26th at 4 PM before the regular Board meeting at the Justice Center.
