The Twin Cities Auto Show is this weekend, March 9th through the 17th.

According to Scott Wasserman with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Minnesota State Troopers will have a classic squad car, a 1979 Dodge Saint Regis, on display. According to a press release, vehicle enthusiasts can see the classic squad, check out the workings of a current squad car, a 2019 AWD Dodge Charger, and learn how to stay safe on Minnesota roadways. There will also be on display a vehicle involved in an impaired driving-related fatal crash.

The State Patrol will have also be operating their Triple A, distracted and impaired driving simulator and will be on-hand to answer legal questions.

Wasserman says this is a good opportunity to ask troopers about career opportunities with the Minnesota State Patrol.

Troopers this year are celebrating the the 90th anniversary of the Minnesota State Patrol.
