(Red Lake Nation, MN) — The discovery of zebra mussel larvae is putting walleye-rich Red Lake on the infested list. Wildlife experts say adult reproduction there is a near certainty. Upper and Lower Red lakes had been the last of the state’s major walleye lakes to avoid infestation. Officials are working with the Red Lake Nation to monitor the situation.
(Sioux Falls, SD) — North Dakota State is into the Summit League Tournament Championship game after a 76-73 win over Western Illinois in the semifinals in Sioux Falls. Sam Griesel scored 20 points to lead the Bison, who advance to face Omaha in the title game tonight. The winner earns an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
