The Annual Meeting of the Plummer Community Homes will be held on Monday, March 18th at 4pm at the Emardville Hall in Plummer.  The purpose of the meeting is to present financial reports and elect two directors.  Prize drawings will be held and lunch will be served.

Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 1-6pm and every Thursday from 11am-4:30pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St.. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left).  Please bring your own boxes.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls.  This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups.  The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony; the night ends in small groups.  The groups currently offered are women’s life issues, addiction and grief and loss; and men’s addictions and life issues.  Nursery is provided, as well as celebration place for elementary aged children. The yearly “Feed My Starving Children-Bagley Food Packing Event will be held on May 14th and 15th this year.  Volunteers are needed to help package meals for starving children.  To donate, which pays for the 22 cents meals, or to volunteer to work one or more two hour packing shifts, call 218-766-8176.  Donations need to be in by March 20th.

Public Speaker, Author, and UND student Ben Hylden from Park River, ND is coming to Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls at 2pm on Sunday, March 24th.  He will share his near-death experience at age 16 when he lost control of and totaled his car and was ejected through the windshield.   Come and hear his inspiring story from tragedy to triumph; it is a good event for parents, youth leaders and teens to attend.

The Bray-Gentilly Mutual Insurance Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, March 25th at 11am at the Red Lake Falls American Legion.  The purpose of the meeting is to present the annual report, elect members to the Board of Directors, and transact other business that may be brought before the board.  Lunch will be served following the meeting.
