(Tampa, FL) — Chloe Jackson nailed the go-ahead lay-up with six seconds left as Baylor edged Notre Dame 82-81 to win the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship in Tampa. Arike Ogunbowale missed a tying free throw in the final seconds for the defending champion Fighting Irish. Jackson led the Lady Bears with 26 points as they end the year at 37-and-1.
(Philadelphia, PA) — Jose Berrios was cruising until giving up a two-run homer to Rhys Hoskins in the sixth inning as the Twins lost to the Phillies 2-1 in Philadelphia. Max Kepler homered to lead off the game but that was all the offense for Minnesota. Berrios fell to 1-and-1 with the loss. The Twins dropped two-of-three in the series to fall to 5-and-3 overall.

(Dallas, TX) — The Wild closed out the season with a 3-0 loss to the Stars in Dallas on Saturday. Minnesota dropped five of its final seven games to end the year 37-36-and-9. The Wild missed the playoffs by seven points.
(Minneapolis, MN) — Russell Westbrook posted his 32nd triple-double of the season as the Timberwolves lost to the Thunder 132-126 at the Target Center. Karl-Anthony Towns poured in a game-high 35 points for the Wolves, who had won their previous two. Andrew Wiggins added 24 points in defeat. The Wolves host Toronto tomorrow in their home finale and then wrap up the season Wednesday at Denver.
