Corrections officers in Pennington County have been dealing with some issues after finding out that the wrong kind of glass was installed in the jail portion of the Justice Center.
Construction Manager Pete Filippi says the company that installed the glass apologized for the manufacturing error. He says they will pay for replacement of the glass.
He says it will be five or six weeks before the glass is repaired.
Filippi was at the County Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday in Thief River Falls to provide with board with its monthly update. Filippi says they have four or five punch lists they are working.
He says they will wrapping up work at the Justice Center over the next month or two.
