(Augusta, GA) — Tiger Woods is the winner of the 2019 Masters at Augusta National in Georgia. Woods shot a two-under par in the final round Sunday and finished 13-under for the tournament. This is Woods’ first Masters win since 2005 and his 15th Major win overall, second only to Jack Nicklaus.
(Minneapolis, MN) — C.J. Cron and Eddie Rosario both homered as the Twins topped the Tigers 6-4 in Minnesota. Cron knocked in three runs, while Rosario finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Twins, who swept the weather-shortened two-game set. Jose Berrios struck out seven while pitching two-run ball into the seventh inning for the win. Trevor Hildenberger closed it out for his first save.

Robinson broke baseball’s color barrier as the first African-American to play in the majors with the Brooklyn Dodgers on this day in 1947. Players, managers and coaches throughout the league will wear his retired number-42 jersey. There will also be a commemorative sleeve patch and cap insignia.
