A number of Auditors Items were on the Agenda last week at the County Commissioners meeting in downtown Thief River Falls.
According to Pennington County Auditor / Treasurer Ken Olson, 3 change orders were approved by commissioners for the County Justice Center. Acoustical tiling was installed. Wiring modification and camera installation was also approved by the Board. Door replacement and demolition at the old Law Enforcement Center was approved as well.
Olson also brought resolutions on behalf of two area snowmobile clubs. The Board approved to sponsor the Thief River Falls Snowdrifters and Trailblazers out of Goodridge. Sponsorship by the county allows the groups to apply for grants from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
The board also approved of purchase of computers for the County Recorders Office.
Finally, the County is looking into purchasing the land south of the Justice Center.
Commissioners plan on having the Building Committee contact Dean Foods to discuss the potential sale.
