Students from Tri County High School are scheduled to take place in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Conference.
8th grader Isabel Pearson, and 7th grader Emily Barth, advance from state competition, which was held in Bloomington late last month. They now head to the national stage.
Pearson took home gold for her “Focus on Children” event, “Keeping Our Little Monsters Safe,” focusing on Halloween safety. Barth won for her “Recycle and Redesign” project titled, “Best READ Dress Around,” after she fashioning a formal dress out of newspaper.
According to the FCCLA website, nationals take place June 30th to July 4th in Anaheim California.
