Festival is coming up this weekend, at the Hobson Memorial Union.

The family-friendly event celebrates art, and is scheduled for Saturday April 27th and Sunday 28th. Show features include colorful art displays, workshops, live music, dancing, documentaries, acoustic musicians and more than forty vendors.

This year there will be several workshops, including a session on Zero Waste Living, Planning and Packing for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and many more.

Local poets & authors will share their work each day. The show features junk metal sculpture in the front of the Hobson Union by local artist, Al Belleveau. There are even scheduled screenings of The Lorax, and Daughters of the Forest

The two-day event runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm both days. The first 25 in the door, either day, will receive a free, large canvas tote bag, decorated by local children, and made of recycled cotton.
