A Nielsville area man was injured in a two vehicle accident in Polk County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an eastbound 2017 GMC Sierra driven by a 17 year old male, collided with a northbound Pontiac G5, driven by Marlow Mark Pallum, 59, at the intersection of Highway 220 at 360th Street in Vineland Township.
According to the State Patrol report, Pallum was taken to Crookston Hospital and treated for injuries officers at the scene describe as non-life threatening. They say he was wearing his seat-belt at the time of the accident reported just after 11 AM. Troopers say Pallum had *not* been consuming alcohol prior to the collision.
The State Patrol report does not list an health care facility for the 17 year old. Officials say he was also wearing a seat-belt. No word on whether he was injured or if he had been consuming alcohol. Road conditions were listed as dry at the time of that accident.
