Perez struck out nine over seven innings of two-hit ball to move to 5-and-0 with the win. Eddie Rosario and Jason Castro both homered and drove in three runs apiece for Minnesota, which has won eight of its last 11 to lead the AL Central at 21-and-12. Jorge Polanco also went deep.

(Eagan, OH) — The Vikings are gearing up for the start of OTA’s. The Vikes will hold the first of three OTA sessions from May 21st through 23rd. They will run periodically through June 6th. A mandatory minicamp will take place June 11th through 13th. In roster news, the Vikings signed cornerback Isaiah Wharton following their three-day rookie minicamp over the weekend.
