Taylor Rogers gave up two hits in the ninth but held on for his fourth save. Marwin Gonzalez walked with the bases loaded in the first inning and Mitch Garver hit a two-run homer in the sixth for Minnesota, which has won five-of-seven.

(Louisville, KY) — There will be no Triple Crown winner in horse racing this year. Kentucky Derby winner Country House will not run in the Preakness Stakes due to a developing illness. The horse was declared the winner of the Derby this past Saturday after first-place finisher Maximum Security was disqualified. It will be the first time in 23 years the Derby winner misses the Preakness.
