State Patrol Says Alcohol Was a Factor in Single Vehicle Accident This Morning in Wadena


A Wadena area man was seriously injured in a single vehicle accident early this morning in Wadena County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Timothy Allen Hahn, 30, was injured when the westbound 2010 Chevy Silverado he was driving left Highway 10, and struck an approach, coming to rest in the ditch. According to the State Patrol report, Hahn was ejected from the vehicle during the accident near mile post 91 in Wadena, and taken to Centra-Care St Cloud with injuries troopers at the scene describe as life-threatening.

Road conditions were listed as dry and Hahn was not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the accident, reported just after 1:30AM.

Officials say alcohol played a factor in the accident.
