The Joint Powers Agreement between the State of Minnesota and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office was approved this week by County Commissioners at their regular meeting in downtown Thief River Falls.
The agreement is a continuation of the Sentenced to Serve, and Work Release Programs. Both were approved Tuesday by the Board under a single, unanimous vote.
In other Sheriff’s Department news, the County Board approved Sheriff’s recommendation for new hire to a jail dispatch position, following a successful background check and interview with Scott Ossling.
The Board also approved two thousand dollars for a Sheriff’s Department storage shed.
