Pennington County Commissioners passed a resolution Tuesday, at the regular County Board meeting in downtown Thief River Falls, to approve the purchase of maps to be provided upon request for various uses.
The resolution was brought forward by County Engineer Mike Flaagan, who says he has run out of maps at the Highway Department. The Board approved the purchase of one thousand maps at a cost of $6,854 from Mustang’s Signs and Graphics in Saint Cloud. Flaagan says the maps are very detailed. He says it will likely be a few months before the maps will be available.
In other Highway Department news, County Commissioners also discussed Tuesday, purchasing a large dry erase board map of the County, to hang in the Board Room.
