TRF Takes Lead in Our Courts, Our Future Grant Program Vote

Thief River Falls has taken the lead in voting for the Timberwolves Our Courts, Our Future grant program to refurbish public basketball courts.

The votes at this morning sit at 60 percent for Bill LaFave Park, 35 percent for Ryan Flood Memorial Park in Grand Rapids, and 5 percent for Win-E-Mac Schools in Erskine.

If selected, the basketball court at Bill Lafave Park would be reconstructed at no cost to the city. According to Thief River Falls City Public Works Director Mark Borseth, the public can vote once per day. Borseth encourages everyone to “vote once per day, on as many devices as you can,” and to share the story to get as many votes as possible.

Voting is scheduled to close at 11:59pm on Friday, May 24th.
