A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.

Two people were seriously injured in a two vehicle accident over the weekend in Hubbard County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Elvin Eugene Hartsock, 51, of Randall was injured when the north bound 2002 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving collided with a south bound 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Jericha Leigh Vredenburg, 36, of Dayton on Highway 71 in Park Rapids. According to the State Patrol report, both were taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo and treated for injuries troopers at the scene describe as life threatening.

Road conditions were listed as dry, and it is unknown if either were wearing seat-belts at the time of the accident, reported just before 2 PM.

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
