Two teenagers are dead following a 2 vehicle accident Saturday in Itasca County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Aiden Patrick Hall, 16, and Trent Casey Salminen, 13, were killed when the northbound 2005 Honda Accord, driven by Tyler Allen Farnsworth was struck by a 1994 Chevy Cobra Camper.

According to the State Patrol report, the Honda driver attempted a left hand turn on to Highway 65 North, from Highway 169 near Nashwauk. Farnsworth, and Jordan Farnsworth, 15, were taken to UMCM Hibbing and treated for injuries troopers at the scene describe as non-life threatening. A passenger in the camper, Terry Marie Alsaker, 59, was also taken to UMCM HIbbing and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the camper suffered no apparent injury.

Road conditions were listed as dry and it is unclear if Salminen was wearing a seat-belt at the time of the accident reported just before 2PM.

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
