A grant to reimburse deputy registrars for losses caused by MNLARS was approved by Pennington County Commissioners Yesterday in Thief River Falls.

According to County Auditor / Treasurer Ken Olson, the County will be reimbursed to the tune of more than $58,000, following the failure of administration agencies responsible for MNLARS. It is just part of the 15.7 million dollars approved by the State House Transportation Finance and Policy Division Panel that agreed to the reimbursement in February.

The troubled vehicle licensing and registration system has now cost the State more than 100 million dollars.
