For the residents of Newfolden: Due to the weather, the aerial mosquito control application has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 13th, between 7-11pm, weather permitting.  Should the spray be rescheduled, it would then take place the following evening.

The Thief River Falls Christian Women’s Club/Stonecroft Ministries is presenting “Healing through Horses” at noon on Tuesday, June 18th at the TRF American Legion.  Christine Foster will give information on what it does and how it can help; Tina Young from Watkins, MN will share her story “Joyful Living Surrounded by Grief” and Aly Karow from Thief River Falls will bring her wonderful singing talent.  The cost is $9; reservations are appreciated by Thursday, June 13th, call Carmen at 681-3091.

Hall.  Come and enjoy this free event promoting Polish culture through song and dance.

The city of Viking is sponsoring a Father’s Day Dinner on Sunday, June 16th from 11am-1:30pm at the Viking Diner.  The menu includes walleye or BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes or potato salad, green beans or glazed carrots, coleslaw, rhubarb crisp dessert, coffee and punch.  The cost is $15/adults, and children 8 and under/$5.
