A Beltrami County Accident yesterday has left two people with injured.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 16 year old male was injured with non-specific injuries when he allegedly failed to yield while crossing Highway 71 on Lakewood Drive in Northern Township.

According to the State Patrol Report, the 2005 Chevy Silverado the boy was driving was struck by a northbound 2013 Ford Mustang, driven by Pamela Jane Boden, 64, of Blackduck. The Mustang was then pushed into a 2014 KW Conventional Cab driven by Ryan James Lundin, 30, of Bemidji, causing light damage to the bumper.

Boden and the 16 year old were taken to Bemidji Sanford, with Borden treated for injuries troopers at the scene describe as non-life threatening. No injury type is listed for the boy. Ludin, and a passenger in his vehicle Craig Allen Speed, 49, of Aitken suffered no apparent injury.

Road conditions were listed as dry and all were wearing seat-belts at the time of the accident, reported just after 4:30PM.

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
