Starting today, more than 300 agencies are adding extra shifts to combat speeding across the state.

Minnesota’s speed-related fatalities have climbed above 100 for the first time in a decade. According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, 113 motorists died on Minnesota roads in 2018, with speed contributing to nearly one quarter of all single-vehicle accidents last year.

Law enforcement officers from will be targeting speeders through July 21st.
