Bid letting has been scheduled for another portion of the Mark Boulevard Bridge Project.
The project was split into three separate projects after the County Board of Commissioners rejected the solitary bid that came in earlier this month for the project that was originally made up of two roundabouts and a bridge.
According to Pennington County Engineer Mike Flaagan, each roundabout and the river crossing are being bid separately, in an effort to attract more competitive bids. Bid letting for the bridge portion of the project has been scheduled for August 27th at 10AM. Bid letting for the roundabout project at the Highway 32 / Mark Boulevard intersection was set at the last County Board meeting, June 11th.
Bids will be taken for that portion of the project August 13th, at the Pennington County Government Center, Meeting Room A, in downtown Thief River Falls.
