UNFI is recalling packages of Woodstock frozen Organic Grilled Red Peppers, saying they may be contaminated with Listeria.
According to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, the product in question comes in 10 ounce plastic packages, marked an expiration date of April 2020.
The recalled product was distributed nationally to retail stores. The potential for contamination was noted during routine testing by the Rhode Island Department of Health. Production of the product has been suspended while an investigation is being conducted.
